ah, so there is a show part of the SCC. What to do.. what to do... Just switching between heavy 17" to lighter 17" at the track, we gained 2 secs, which is pretty big. Switching from 18" to 17" would be an even bigger jump, unless those are pretty light 18". I don't want push it on you, as it's your car, and you can do what you want to do as it's your money too, but I just want you to understand that running heavy 18" at the track will be a big lap time penalty. Being that you have to satisfy many different catagories, you have to make compremises. I can understand. Just so you know, a 4 second lap time loss at the track is almost the difference between a stock TT and stock NA. Race tires typicaly give you about a 2 second advantage. Lightly wheels will give you and even greater advantage. I'm guessing your loosing about 2+ second lap times by staying with the 18" instead of balls out super light 17" wheels. It's all compremises. Good luck. btw, I'm Lee, not Glenn. ;) Cheers, Lee Darzycki OTC T2 #300 Grey '91 "Glenn Nakata" 300ZX TwinTurbo
